Private Kayak Roll Lesson

Learn to roll a whitewater kayak with one-on-one pool instruction!

Willie is a Portland-based Class V whitewater kayaker who loves to share
his passion for kayaking on area rivers with others. As the winner of
this package, you will have 2-3 hours (over two sessions) one-on-one
with Willie at an indoor heated pool, where you'll learn the
fundamentals of righting your kayak without exiting it -- also known as
the Eskimo Roll. Basic-to-intermediate instruction on kayaking technique
is also available if the Eskimo Roll is not your goal.

Bidders should be excited to learn, in reasonable physical shape, and
willing and able to travel to pool sessions in downtown Portland and/or
Sunnyside. Pool entry fees range from $0-12, and are the responsibility
of the winning bidder. All required equipment will be provided as
needed, from sources like Next Adventure, PSU's Outdoor Program, and
Willie's own gear shed.
